POPIA notice

This notice supplements our Privacy policy and details how TechnoMart complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Lawful basis
We process personal information on the following bases:
- Performance of a contract — when you place an order, we need your details to fulfil it.
- Legal obligation — tax, accounting, and consumer protection laws require us to keep certain records.
- Legitimate interest — fraud prevention, service improvement.
- Consent — for marketing communications and analytics cookies. You can withdraw at any time.
Eight conditions of POPIA
- Accountability — TechnoMart appoints an Information Officer.
- Processing limitation — only what is necessary, with consent or another lawful basis.
- Purpose specification — collected for explicit, defined purposes.
- Further processing limitation — not used for incompatible purposes.
- Information quality — kept accurate and up to date.
- Openness — this notice and our privacy policy.
- Security safeguards — encryption in transit and at rest, hashed passwords, access controls.
- Data subject participation — you can access, correct, or request deletion of your data.
Submitting a request
To access, correct, or delete your personal information, email our Information Officer at info@atlascg.co.za with the subject line "POPIA request". We will respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator: inforegulator.org.za · complaints.IR@justice.gov.za.
